Depends on what you want to do.... 🙂
Most of the time, my cameras are disarmed. I armed them when out 4-5x per week for 4+ hours and have excellent battery life imo.
Disarmed they use almost no pwer ( sleep mode ) , motion detect use a bit more, viewing or recording use the most ( same ).
So use your cams as an alarm and set motion when out, view or record as little as possible and your batteries should reach a fairly good lifetime.
