Wireless camera will not operate after I inserted new batteries

I responded to message to replace batteries--which I did---but camera does not operate---same message  to replace batteries

a couple steps ... if ng move to next

1) power button reboot the base, let it come back, check

2) OPEN battery door for a few seconds, make sure batteries are in correctly, close and check.

3) last, go to SETTINGS, devices, pick camera ... REMOVE DEVICE.  Then bring the camera back as if new with a re-sync.
