I love this camera and it works great for our business just had to make a few tweaks.
1. Batteries would not last long enough so I modified the case took out the batteries soldered in a 6 volt power supply and now have power 24/7
2. Wifi works great and that is why I chose this camera
Now for my problem -- I would LOVE to be able to change recording to 24/7 and have it on the 7 day loop but arlo does not offer that -- any thoughts/ suggestions? I have tried setting motion detection to 100% BUT sometimes it does not pick up motion over 20 feet away sort of defeats the purpose.
Thanks for any thoughts!!

You problem is the limits set by the software... not the camera. The software has a limit of about 30 mins record in live mode in case it was forgotten and left on (to avoid killing batteries ).....can't do much about that.

The Q indoor cameras should help with all the above. Powered and continuous video recording available.

Thanks for the replies -- I was thinking that since the Q cameras have the ability why not the WiFi cameras.
I have outdoor locations that are best served by the WiFI cameras -- I actually am using them remotely with a small solar panel and power converters to ge the job done.
I don't have ready access to power to use the Q cameras.

The only thing i can mention , is since the power issue isn't there, is to turn up the sense all the way and maximize your record time to 2 mins...
This will allow as many recordings as possible. ( tho many may be false triggers )
