What is an easy way to set up cameras to record/ detect motion for a specified time frame? how do I set it up for each individual camera?

Under MODE, What is the difference between the SCHEDULE (on/off switch) and the "ALL MOTION OFF" and "ALL MOTION ON" , in other words, do both the SCHEDULE & ALL MOTION need to be set ON?

Thank you.

You would set up a rule for each camera and then combine them using modes.  Once you have the modes set up, go to the Modes tab and set up a schedule.  Set a mode starting at midnight and fill in the rest of the schedule as appropriate.  Repeat for each day.

You can use EITHER the schedule or All Motion On/Off.  They're mutually exclusive.

Schedule will turn them on and off based on what you set in the schedule...

0600 turn off

0800 turn on

1700 turn off

2200 turn on

etc

all motion on will make the cameras record on motion

all motion off will pretty much turn the cameras off and only viewable via the app / the web portal (no motion detection = no recording)
