Setup motion detection recording for just two cameras out of four

I'm trying to activate two outdoor cameras for full time motion detection while the interior cameras remain "disarmed". I've tried to follow the intructions however they have not been very useful. Using the Arlo app on my phone it appears that all cameras must be armed, or no cameras armed, or schedule all cameras, or set up a Custom "mode" for one camera. I have not found any information or a way to arm two cameras while the others stay "disarmed". Any help would be apreciated.  It seemed the "Vuezone" camera system was much easier to use and program.  Thanks.

Mode > Add a mode > select first cam and complete the config > edit your newly created mode and click on Add Rule to select 2nd cam

Any mode with no rule for a camera means that camera is disarmed.
