Right now the recording is set at 10 seconds.  How do I change that to more seconds?

Edit your modes. Better yet, create new ones to reflect what you need. Mode tab, click on your base and then use the pencil or > on the right of the mode to see and set various items. Create a new mode and add a rule for a camera. Save and reedfit the new mode to add rules for additional cameras. All settings are in your rules.

You can personalize your Arlo cameras to record videos from approximately 10 to 120 seconds long. To adjust video recording length, choose the camera you want update, and edit the Camera’s Rules.

To adjust video recording length:
Tap the Arlo app on your mobile device. You can also enter arlo.netgear.com in the address bar of a browser.
Click or tap Mode.
Click or tap the base station or camera that you want to adjust.
Click or tap the pencil icon next to the mode that you want to edit.
Note: The Disarmed and Scheduled Modes do not apply in this case. Only active modes such as the Armed mode can adjust recording length.
Click or tap your preferred edit or pencil icon under Rules.
Click or tap the pencil icon next to Record Video.
Note: Record Video must be enabled to edit recording length.
Move the Slider Controlslider control.pngto your preferred recording length.
Click or tap Back.
Click or tap Save.
Your recording length is updated.
