Is there a way to set the cameras so that instead of just recording the predetermined amount of time (e.g., 20 seconds or 30 seconds) it records whilever motion is occuring and then for a predetermined period after motion stops? I want to keep recording length to a minimum for the sake of battery life, but if motion goes on longer than the predetermined time, the recording stops after the set period and then restarts after a pause, leaving a gap. This is presumably because the camera is resetting and then detecting motion again, with the well known latency problem causing the gap.
Thanks!

As you know, you can only set the the record time and then if the set time is exceeded, it stops and will chk again for motion and then re-start recording for the same set time.... you can't have it continue recording during just motion as you want.

Thanks, TomMac. I guess that just confirms my understanding.
Do people from Arlo monitor these discussions? Seems like it shouldn't be too hard to write software that would make recording whilever there's motion an option. How do we make requests for improvements/upgrades?
Thanks again!
