Problems installing arlo app on android note4

I was able to install the arlo app on my android and I am granting my sister access,  but she is unable to install on her phone which is a android note4.  She is getting an error message "Phone not compatible with application" or either the app keeps running like it is installing but never completes the installation. Any solutions available?

Is it possible to upgrade the phone's sw ?  older versions of android can cause problems.

While the app is preferable, using a web browser on the phone/tablet also works. The need for Flash affects only live viewing in my experience.
