I agree. The outside use is very poor. The subject has already gone out of of camera range before it engages. I have quit using it. I do not recdommend this system.

FWIW, I use these only outdoors and have few problems with them. Lag is minimal, although not nonexistent, and motion detection is reasonable with some trial and error for positioning and sensitivity.

I also get a small amount of lag... in the order of 1-2 seconds.

It did take a few times moving it to the proper spot tho ( and to eliminate 90% of false triggers )
