I have played with the motion dectection and have become so frustrated. I have it at an angle where an object has to break its path. I have the dections set at the most sensitve and it still doesnt pick up anything. My husband walked all the way down the driveway to our backdoor and it didnt even record. The front cam doesnt pick up deliveris or me even walking out to get the mail. I feel like I was mislead by how great this system was and now I'm stuck with a product that doesnt even work. I should have just bought dummy cameras to hang. Does anyone have any advise and tips on how to get them to detect better and actually record?

First, are you certain your cameras are turned on to react to motion detection?

You can tell by looking at the “running man“ symbol on the camera tab/page above each camera's picture. If that symbol is dark black like the battery gauge and signal strength indicator next to it, the camera's motion detection is turned on. Otherwise, if it's gray, it's not.

If that isn't the problem, post some still pictures here, so we can provide better help. It may be that you have to relocate or reorient your cameras for optimal results.

I ended up having to turn the motion up to 100% now I am least getting some videos but it is not catching everything. My husband ran down the driveway and it never pinged me til he entered the back door, just caugh this shirt as he was walking in. There would have never been a way for me to tell who it was if I was expecting to record an intruder. I guess these cameras where not as great as I anticipated. 😞
