Night vision switches on and off

Hello,

My front porch camera's night vision clicks to night vision and back to color mode. I believe that the reason for that is due to a light that is in front of the camera (see pics below). How do I solve this issue? Is there a way to lock the camera to color mode?

Nothing to be done other than to leave lights on or change position and/or angle of the camera.
