I have two rules for motion
1. Rule - If Driveway camera detect motion turn on front door camera. But when I get the notifcation on Android it says motion at front door detected
I want notification to say driveway so I can then look at the right camera history
2. Rule - If front door detect motion turn on driveway camera. One this one the notification sent says driveway detect motions
I want notification to say front door.
Why is it backways. The notification is on the camera it TURNED ON but not the camera that detected the motion which is the one I want to look at...

This is expected behavior.
The rules path states:
1. "If the following"
2. "then do the following"
3. "and do the following"
So in your rule for one camera to trigger another it will look like this:
1. If motion is detected on Camera A
2. Then record on Camera B
3 And send push notifications/email
Recordings and push/email notifications are tied together within the rule.
Because Camera B is the recording camera, this is the camera that sends push notifications/email. Please let me know if this needs further clarification.

Well, the message says what camera detected the motion. In that sense, it's right.
I haven't tried this but what about renaming the rules so it refers to the recording camera? It might be that simple.

I can confirm this.
This seems to me to be a bug. I'd bring this to the attention of support. Best option might be to just submit a ticket on https://my.netgear.com, so that they can raise the issue with the developers and add to their list of bugs to fix.

Not sure what you're asking - you DO want that or NOT?
If you do, the directions are above your post - just read it.
If you don't, you need to edit your mode(s) and change the rules so each camera detects motion and records on that camera instead of another.

My unit does not have the option to modify the rules in the mode section. The mode section only allows you to arm or disarm.
How do I get the camera that sees the motion to record? Not another camera.

The Armed mode shows you how to set up a new custom mode with your desired settings. Slog through it and check it out but don't change it. Create a new mode using the Add a New Mode button and set up one camera as you like. Save. If needed, edit that new mode and add additional camera rules to that mode, one at a time, saving each one.
