Motion alerts without recording?

Is it possible to setup a mode with rules that will allow email/push notifications upon motion detection but not recording when motion it detected?  We have a mountain property with very limited bandwidth (10gb per month) and recordings eat up the bandwidth very quickly.  So I'd like to be notified when motion is detected so I can pull up my cameras but I don't want the system to record it.  Thoughts?  Thanks

The lowest amount is 10 seconds....

I'm still wishing for snapshot option ( like the old viewzone ) but it hasn't happened yet !  😞
