Have had the system with 3 cameras for approx 4 mos. and in the same postions. Been fortunate been working great. However lately the most active camera position that monitors driveway has been eratic. For example we have 3 family members that park in the driveway and we will get recordings of 2 leaving and the last one nothing but then there's times I'll have a recording of nothing every minute for 15 mins. Anyone else having this problem? Battery life still shows full however understand per the forum this could be suspect indication as well.

Hard to say. I've recently had quite a few seemingly unfounded recordings as well. However, I attribute it to very windy weather conditions that move brush a lot more frequently and violently, hence possibly triggering the PIR sensors more often.

Don't forget birds or other rapidly moving objects that trigger but disappear before recording starts. I'm also getting false triggers in the afternoon now that I'm recording idiot neighbors all day with the sun's position reflecting IR that's detected as movement. Lowered the threshold from 100% to 92% and it's much better now.

My daytime sensitivity is set to 80% on most cameras, nighttime at 93%. One camera that is pointed towards the front of the house from the side triggers regularly when the garbage truck goes by twice a week, and there is only a sliver necessary to trip it. See here:
The truck is a good 35-40 ft away, 10 ft more when on opposite side of the street. Lowering the sensitivity to 75% hasn't helped. Will have to angle it down more.

You need this as a solution if you want to get rid of those triggers in the background.:
My camera use to pick up cars 25-30 feet away moving at 25 MPH when it was armed. A liitle PVC, flat black paint, and 3M tape worked wonders.
