MOTION DETECTION ETC

I am looking to use this in the communal garage with my flat - I suspect others of tampering with my car. Would this work re motion detection, recording etc?

Motion detection is a touchy sublect when it comes to Arlo.  Location location must be OPTIMIZED to yeild desired results.  If the subjects walk accross the field of view users report great Motion detection.  If they walk towards the camera, head on,  motion detection suffers.  If you buy the product, try it out, but keep the reciept in case you have to return it
