Can live feed be viewed from camera #1 while motion is being recorded from camera #2? This ia a "con" with the VueZone camera system.

Yes, with Arlo cameras you can live stream/record on camera #1 while motion is being recorded on camera #2.
You can also simultaneously live stream/record up to 5 cameras synced to a single base station.
