<Is it possible to store video on a HD on my WiFi network?>
if your asking if you can record locally to your system, then, No. The recordings go to Arlo cloud for storage and back to you if you want to stream/view them.
You can however Download any videos and/or snapshots to your local drive and then do what ever you like to them ( the vids are in mp4 format, the stills in jpg )

I really would love the ability to record localy. The cloud is great for a many, but for those who have a more in depth setup and create their own local cloud... well you get the point. I sure hope this will be an options for version 2.0, because if it is I will be happy to be your customer.

Post your request here or give 'kudo' to it if already there... more kudos, better chance of it coming to fruition.

I honestly believe the largest missing feature for this system consists of local storage. The custom flashlight batteries wouldn't bother me at all if I had the ability to connect the camera's to my own NAS system (or just computer/external HDD) and have all my videos record to that. This is something I really hope they consider doing via a firmware update (and if I need to buy another external tool that will annoy me considering the rediculous prices of the current accessories like the mounts ... ).

Follow up to my question: I realize that I can use my internet access to Arlo library and download the vids from there to a HDD on my local WiFi system. I want the Netgear system to make it easier directly from the Arlo system.//ceehome
