I would still like motion detection and recording to work. But when I am home I don't need notifications for the backyard, so I disabled the email notification. Now the camera does not go off or record when motion is detected. How to fix this issue?

the email part shouldn't effect the motion detect part.... So I would guess maybe the rule was changed ( or the mode the rule resides in )

Easy test is to set the MODE you want on ( cams you want active )... after doing so, go to live streaming camera view and check to make sure the "running man" is GREEN for the active cameras.... if they are not green, then they are turned off and will not detect motion.

Go to the MODE in question and make sure the check mark at the end of the camera line is checked off in green ( green in on,blacl/gray is off )

After any changes, make sure you save during exits , some pages require 2 saves on the way out of settings.

Ive done exactly as u said it lights both up as grenn when setting mode but after returning to view only 1 is green & neither record still ..4 days of trying to get this to work correctly still no luck, no tech support to call to solve a simple problem. Ive tried resetting everything, reinstalling app, then trying online. I might try setting up a new account to different email to get a clean start from the begigning I dont know waht to do mayby just return it all?

Noel1982,

What mode do you have the camera set to? Are you using a schedule?
