I'm still investigating buying an Arlo system. Seems to be a pretty good way to go. I'm wondering how much time will record on a 128GB SD card (yes, I know it's sold separately) before the video starts to wrap and delete the old file(s). Let's assume I'm recording 24/7. I'm not looking for an exact answer; just an estimate will do. Is it an hour, a day or number of days or weeks ? Is there a rule-of-thimb that I can use for 124/7 recording in GB/HR ?
Thanks
DM

Don't know when it showed up but 37.6 minutes at 720p was 137MB. Probably not the best way unless you're sittin g there monitoring things. That's over 5GB per day and 1080p would be roughly double that.

You can't record 24/7. 2 minutes at a time is it although I have to say I haven't tried live viewing and recording for long periods of time. Maybe but I doubt it.

OK. So no CVR recording, that's too bad, but how large is a 2-minute video. I'm just trying to see how much storage I might need.
Thanks for the help.

My 2 minute 1080 recordings are on the order of 6-8MB. I'm in the process of attempting a long recording via live view to see when/if it times out. 5 minutes so far...

Welp, tried a 35 minute live recording. Everything indicated it was happening but it's not in the library. Perhaps it will show up later or not.

Thanks very much. Some quick math tells me a 128 GB card will yield about 22-24 days of recording (At roughly 3.6 - 4.0MB/Min). That's plenty of time for me (and makes one realize how much storage 128GB is!!)
