Geofencing with Windows phone

I'm on Android and have set up geofencing, seems to work OK. Wife is on Windows phone and so has no Arlo app, she is also a technophobe and won't contemplate changing.

I have an old Android phone that I could leave in her car. Will geofencing work without a SIM in the phone, and does geofencing work with two phones set up for it?

Prob not without access to internet tho may via wifi hotspots if enough in your area....

Right now there seems to be a problem with more than one device... but it is a Beta.

Hmmm I was thinking it would use our home WiFi connection to say she's in the 'fence'. However I'd been stupid and not accounted for there being no WiFi signal when she drives away and so no way for it to tell that it's outside of the 'fence'.

What are the chances of a Windows app being released anyone soon?
