Does the time period of friend sharing run out, then you need to pay for this function?

No, it's indefinite until you redact access privileges.

As Schorschi states above, shared access to friends using the Grant Access feature does not expire.

 

This feature is available on all plans, Basic, Premier, and Elite with no additional payment required.
