Delay between recordings if motion continues

I have noticed if 'motion' continues after the recording time, that a new recording does not start for about 15 seconds. It would be so much better if this was reduced to a second or two to avoid vital video information not being recorded.

 

 

Anyway around this other than setting a longer recording time which for,99% of times will waste the battery?

Not really.  The reset time isn't something we can control (don't even know what causes it - perhaps finishing the stream upload followed by a reset of the camera?).
