I would like the cameras to be linked so that if camera 1 detects motion, camera 1 and camera 2 will start recording.

You should already be able to do this by setting up two rules in a mode:

Rule 1: If Camera 1 detects motion, Camera 1 begins recording

Rule 2: If Camera 1 detects motion, Camera 2 begins recording

Mikeshop,

This feature is already available by creating rules as described above by mikewho. Please let us know if you experience any issues creating those rules!

Just as a follow-up to this:

I recently set up rules in the same way that Mikeshop is attempting to. While the rules should work "in theory", they do not seem to be simultaneously recording. While the initial camera triggers recording just fine, the camera that ends up recording varies between one or the other (but not both).

Please see the following thread for more detail on the issue (with another user experiencing the same issue): https://community.netgear.com/t5/Motion-Detection/multiable-cameras-record-on-motion-trigger-by-eith...

By the same token, what videos are visible in the library depends on what interface you're using My laptop using Chrome shows all videos but the Android app does not. You can test this by temporarily turning on email notifications - you should get two emails with a link to the individual camera's video.
