Basic Billing Functionality

I'd like to suggest that the Arlo website be updated to include basic billing functionality. I recently wanted to view my latest invoice as I am not receiving them via email for some reason, however the website has no way of displaying this. I have opened a support ticket and now have to wait 48 hours for support to provide my invoices and receipts which is completely ridiculous.

 

I'd suggest the ability for users to do the following on-demand for both subscriptions and equipment purchases:

  • View past invoices/receipts
  • View next upcoming invoice
  • Receive a notification of payments about to happen
  • Receive an invoice/receipt via email when a payment does happen

From other subscription services I use these are all basic functionality that are built into the apps/websites. I've never not been able to view this information.

I completely agree. I haven't even figured out how to submit a support ticket to get that information. So frustrating that there isn't an easier way. Even the phone number they give only has options for technical support or advice on purchasing.

In the end it took 2 weeks for them to provide one-time invoices, if I want future invoices I have to contact support each time and likely wait 2 weeks again. Pretty disgraceful and I have no idea how they haven't addressed this already...

I am in the same situation.  I did not receive the September email invoice and I would like a copy for my files.   How do I get a copy of my September 2020 invoice/receipt?

Same here.  I should not have to jump through hoops every month to get a simple invoice.  Arlo is a hot mess!  

 

I am seriously considering cancelling my subscription, removing all the Arlo cameras and going with a different system.

 

Providing an invoice for charges on my credit card should be a basic service function of customer service.

Yep I'm done with Arlo.  It costs us more in effort to get an invoice than every single time it is going to cost to replace it and get a solution that has it's act together.  You can only wait patiently for such a basic feature before all the good will is gone out of the relationship.

Why am I not receiving email confirmation of a payment going through?  Last month, I had to get a hold of support to get them to send me my August's invoice.  I haven't changed my email address!!!  The ability to view/download invoices from the website should be one of the most basic "features".

I have needed to speak with a billing support specialist twice.  The web support does not offer this option.  The phone support choices do not offer this option.  It is pretty ridiculous that a company that wants to continue having customers does not offer an option for billing support.  I submitted my case on the website and received this reply, "Please be informed that we value your reaction and comments for our product and services. We will use this to improve them further and avoid inconvenience to our valued clients. As of now contacting our billing support directly is unavailable due to system limitation. If you would like to see this feature enhanced, I humbly suggest to post your ideas using the link below so it can easily be heard by our development team. Some of the features in Arlo system were also suggested by our customer through this forum."
