I have two Arlo cameras outside and thinking about ArloQ for inside.  I have a roommate.  If I set the ArloQ for motion detection, what happens when someone is home?  Will I get constant email alerts everytime she moves in the room?

Yup.  You can turn off notifications, manually disarm the camera or possibly set a schedule to disarm when someone is known to always be home.
