Hello Arlo team,
this is a feature request from customer.
Could you think about this 'Focus night vision IR illumination on' feature to cover the scenario in attached picture.
as I have my porch lights, even with the settings -- night vision on, because Arlo delects the environment illumination is bright, so the IR won't turn on, but in result, the street is totally dark then.
It is pretty nice to have the IR LED focus turn on based on time schedule and/or with the geo location dusk/dawn time while doing the recording.
Thanks
Tim

Perhaps move your Arlo camera further away from the porch lights

Depending how far your street is away it may not make any difference. The max usable distance for the IR illuminator is about 25 ft+
As you get farther away it decreases rapidly ( inverse square law ).
In your case I prob would have toggled off the night vision to make sure the batteries last longer and sitck with your normal lighting.
Good picture btw.
