Tapping a phone/tablet notification alert message should open the app and put the camera in live view mode, and optionally turn on the mic.

It does that now on Android, haven't checked Ios lately...

 

A tap on the push snapshot loads right to the LIVE view screen,  you have to choose the camera tho.
