Is this an illusion made by camera or real?

Watch the upper left of the video.  This is my grandsons friend running out the door.  It is at night and you will see a person running out of neighbors yard.  Is this the camera doing this or was another person there

looks like it's him at slow speed, tho i don't know how you would get a reflection pass the field of view ( thinking lens and plastic cover )
