Safe from hackers

I recently installed Arlo cameras.  I am wondering is there something I should be doing to keep my cameras safe from hackers since it is on a wifi network?

As long as you have secured your WiFi network you should be fine.

Netgear has stated the stream is encrypted...

Verisign is used to access during login.

"I found out the unfortunate answer from a Netgear product manager.  The RTSP stream is encrypted and thus cannot be used to integrate with other software.  This makes the Arlo a security device not a surveillence one.  My clients will not be able to use it."
