G'day from down under,
All the different shops i visited prior to purchasing my Arlo WiFi either forgot to mention or did not know that it's not possible to utilise up to 15 Cameras on the 7 day Free Account. You would need to make a committment for the current account of AU$18.99 per month.
In Australia I could only find the One, Two, or Three Camera packages so I purchased an extra camera at point of sale with the intention to increase the cameras as required to the maximum of 15.
Since the package is pretty expensive to start with its a bit unfair to have to be charged AU$18.99 per month on top of this to utilise the maximum of 15 cameras. it would be less expensive over the long term to purchase a seperate package.
Maybe Netgear could think about offering to add more cameras to the FREE Account & only use the current 7 day Cloud backup & if you require more storage then you would need to pay extra.

Youn can use 15 cameras for free but not on the same account, you'd have to run 3 ( with diff pw/log-ins )
As to offering more for free...it's a very competative market, they have to make money to stay in existence and keep the shareholders happy... prob smarter penny-pinchers there than U or I.

Could you explain the method of adding up to 15 cameras with diff pwd logins. Would that be if I purchased extra complete Arlo Packages with Routers or can it be done by adding the cameras to the existing Router?

You would need 3 systems...that is sets of cameras and 3 bases. Each base and associated cameras would be its own separate account.
Of course you would need 3 ethernet ports available and may or may not have intererence bewtween the bases if to close to each other.

Yes, that is as I wrote in the initial post the only way to do it on the Free 7 Day Account.
These systems in Australia are about 4 times the price of the least expensive WiFi System.
I agree everyone needs to make money but considering the initial upfront costs the on going costs should be less expensive.
It's the same with alarm systems here, if you pay bugger all upfront then the ongoings costs are generally more expensive.
If you pay high prices upfront then the ongoing running costs are generally less.
On another matter do you know the Pwd to get into the Netgear Router, None is given with the unit) if you can get in, it will most likely be possible to use your own Cloud account for storage however without any immediate email notifications?

No... it's high level wpa or whatever ... to my knowledge it doesn't have full router electronics, just whats needed for the cameras
