virus’ on my computer that would not let me connect with the Arlo base

I was told that I had virus’ on my computer and that it would not let me connect with the Arlo base. They said the only way to fix it was to download Arlo Security software. When I ask if I could use the software I had they said it was inferior and that I had to use Arlo security software. They also said that I had to buy it right then or it might not be available later.

This is a scam! There is no such thing as Arlo Security software! Have you tried rebooting your computer to see if this is really a virus rather than a pop-up page? Are you able to use and see your Arlo system?
