power stays amber , does not turn green

Power cycle the base.  If you've previously been able to set up the system, remove all devices in Settings, My Devices.  Press the reset button on the base until the LEDs flash amber.  Wait for the base to reboot, ~2 minutes.  If the power LED is still amber, open a case with support using the Contact Support link at the bottom here or swap the system at the store.
