Thanks for the reply it ended up being that the firmware needed to be updated in the two cams offline. I had to remove the device then open the battery cover and then add the cams again and it up dated the firmware. I bought a refurbished system. Everything is working great now!
What motion setting are you finding to be most effective? Im currently set at 80%, I have are large yard and want it to detect motion as far out as possible but not trying to have a bush set of blowing in the wind set of everytime either its usually wind i live at the foot of a mtn. I of course will play with it to figure out what works best for me but just trying to pick others brain to see what might work best.

Interference, batteries, someone stole them, hard to tell.
Get a look at the base lights and check the signal strength that the cameras have.

I left mine at the default 80% and it's working fine for me, but every situation is different. Just keep experimenting until you find one that best picks what you want and disregards the butterfly landing on a plant.

Outdoors , mine at set at about 86%.... Indoors at about 90%
Some users create two sets of custom rules, 1 for normal days and 1 for windy days with diff sense levels
As mentioned, it all comes down to what goes on in your yard....
PS, don't try and cover to large an area, the PIR for people is good about to a max of 20+ft
