Hello.

One of the five cameras show a green screen overlay status saying "Your device is not connected. Make sure it's connected to your router and has a working Internet connection." and "1d ago". Yesterday was almost 90F degrees and humid outside compared to today's much cooler and rainy weather. 😕

iOS app says Arlo is v2.0.3 (released on 3/15/2016).
https://arlo.netgear.com/#/settings/about says v2.0.2.732_11731 (02/11/16).

I did not get any low battery e-mail notification and the camera does recognize a strong flash light shining on its at night time since it blinked orange light. The camera is close to its base station, so it can't be a weak connection. I powered off and on the base station. That did not help. All four cameras are still working! So, what happened? Does that mean the camera needs to be taken down to resynch, with its physical button pressing, like when setting it up when it was brand new? Cameras and base station are about a year old too. 😞

Thank you in advance. 🙂

I believe a blinking amber LED on the camera indicates low battery.  That doesn't explain the lack of email notification (I've been getting them but I haven't had low batteries for a while so can't speak for now) but it would seem that the batteries are the issue.

Yes, I also just had one of my cameras drop out on me this morning with "Your device is not connected. Make sure it's connected to your router and has a working Internet connection".

But i was in the process of using it live and  it went out....during an update to the iris settings.... battery level showed as 2 of 3 bars at start.

The LED is now flashing orange ( which does means low battery )

No email, but that was prob due to the sudden doa factor during use as opposed to the slow drain and the base detecting low batt during one of it's pings.

On the good side, the batteris were installed on Oct 29 '15 .... put in new batteries, it resync'ed automaticly and G2G for another 6 months

FYI. It was low battery since yanking and reinserting batteries made the camera work again on the next day's morning (forgot to follow-up in here -- sorry). iOS app show low battery and then its e-mail notification came. Strange that happened! A new bug?

It happened with another camera as of this early morning. Power cycling the base station did not fix it. I did not get any low battery e-mails too. It is probably dead/low battery again like last month with the other camera. This is annoying! 😞

ant,

Consider rebooting the camera by opening and closing the battery compartment door. Pay close attention to the camera LED behavior to determine if it indicates low battery: What do the different LED behaviors on my Arlo Wire-Free camera mean?

After the camera indicates it has synced back up with the base station (rapid blue LED) check again to see if the camera is showing online.

That is the next plan. Assuming it is like last month's incident with the other camera, it was low battery even though I never got an e-mail notification about it until AFTER opening and closing the battery compartment door. I can tell you that both incidents showed two blinking amber lights with 30 seconds (or so) of no light between. But which pattern is this according to your link though? Low batteries? It's not clear.

Anyways, the camera can't be fixed now due to the wet weather. Too dangerous to climb the tree to physically get the camera.

FYI. Its batteries were low like last month's other camera. I am puzzled why I never got the e-mail notifications about them again. 😞
