Then i check the batteries and 2 shows full and 2 are dead. Have done this twice with 3 of my cameras and the batteries i put in are new and i checked them with a checker. These batteries are not cheap. So i think something is going on with the camera itself. Also i have one camera that when viewing it looks like you are looking through rose colored glasses.

I have 7 other cameras that work just fine. and when i said 2 are dead and 2 are fine, it is the batteries. And i have 2 issues going on here. 1 - three of my cameras won't stay working when i insert new batteries and 2 - one views like you are looking through rose colored glasses.

The ROSE color glasses may be a hardware issue... contact Netgear support directly re camera.
As to the batteries... the way the camera is designed, it really uses two sets of batteries ( rear/front pair ).
The pair of batteries are supposed to flip-flop so drainage on both sets are equal.
If not, there can be two reasons;
1) the springs in the bottom may be overly pressed in so one of the pair does not make good contact with the lid whn closed... so check them and gently pull them up if they seem compressed, then insert batteries and let the top push them down and in when closing
2) hardware issue with the camera ( tho rare , it has happened ). This also requires a conplain to Netgear Support for assistance.

Thanks! I will check the springs and see if that works. I will also contact Arlo about the rose colored viewing.
