not recording an event

I have several cameras - 2 one inside my garage and one outside garage.  

Yesterday they worked fine, recording my entry/garage door opening, etc. and today the same - all seems to be working fine.  BUT sometime in the night my garage door was opened (not by me) and there is nothing recorded on either camera.  

How does this happen?

Can someone override the system to not record???

If concerned that someone has access to your system, change your password and ensure that 2FA is enabled.

While I certainly can't troubleshoot this sort of thing remotely, I would add that my daughter's garage door was opening by itself and had to be repaired to fix it. No idea what was changed.
