new batteries, camera still showing 0%

I have new batteries in one camera and they work fine, showing 100%. In the other camera, the batteries show 0%, but the amber, low battery light is not flashing. These batteries all checked out with 3+ volts and are out of the same package. Any ideas?

Non-rechargeables, i presume. Try power cycling the base.

I had this happen to me once. Turns out I had installed one of the batteries wrong.
