Download/install the Arlo app on your Android devices. I don't know if the app is available in the Android Amazon store.
You can start the process with creating an account from the app or a normal modern browser by going to http://arlo.netgear.com. On Windows you must use a browser. There is no Windows 10 app.
After you've created an account, plug the base station into your router and wait until you see three green LEDs at the bottom front of the base station. The base station's serial number should show up in the app or browser UI. Select it and start synchronizing your cameras one by one. Hold down the synch button on the base station (on the right side) for no more than two seconds. The third LED from the left on the base station should blink. Briefly press the button on the first camera and wait until the camera's blue status light blinks rapidly. That indicates successful synchronization. Repeat with the second camera.

If you're going to use the app to set up the system you need to be on WiFi on the same network as the base station. It won't work on 3 or 4G until the system has been connected. Use of a browser on a computer may be easier.

Not sure what you mean by putting it on your 1TB cloud.
All footage that's recorded by Arlo is stored in the Arlo cloud. There is no way to change that. You can, however, download any and all clips from the cloud, as long as you do it before you lose access to them. The three subscription plans retain your footage for 7, 30 or 60 days, respectively. Only the 7-day plan is free.

thank you i was looking at the libary not sure how that works, but i do now thank you, the problem im having now is when i first set it all up i put the cameras roughly where to put them, they are now 7ft high and on the magnetic ball, just ordered 2 stands for them, on my phone the app will run all the time when i log in, but on the pc windows 7 i keep getting timed out, or thay seem to stop, or a white screen. i know its ok on the lg4 phone because ive ran it for 2 nights no time out so what can that be thanks for any help.
ps the base is still in the same place, plus cannot go higher as im in a bungalow.

You mean on the PC you don't see anything at all when you log in? Or just certain parts? Which browser are you using and which version? Try using different browsers. There have been recent reports that Live View doesn't work in Firefox (but everything else does).
And you're sure you're still using the same account credentials to login to your Arlo system, since here in the forum your ID seems to have changed?

The app and web page will both time out without user interaction. I don't know what the timeout is - maybe 10 minutes? Never timed it. You should just need to log back in, right?

Just tested the timeout. I wasn't sitting there watching with a stop watch but the web site times out at about 30 minutes.

Sorry, you're not being clear. We can try to help but we need details.
Not sure what you're talking about with 4 minutes. Recording that long or the app/browser is timing out after 4 minutes? If recording, the longest you can do is 2 minutes (120 seconds). You can live view up to 30 minutes. If you want to increase the recording time to the maximum 2 minutes, use the Mode tab, select your system and edit your mode(s) using the pencil icon. All settings, inclucing length of time, are in there. Don't try to edit the schedule to do so - it's only for setting times.
I'm not sure this is what you're after. If not, tell us step-by-step what you're trying to do and what you hope to accomplish.
