my camera will not sync with the base station; says the batteries need replacing

my camera will not sync with the base station; says  the batteries need replacing, after replacing the batteries it still will not sync. help??

I'm not sure how you could get that message without the camera being synced in the first place.

When you insert batteries, be sure to only place them in the slots and let the cover do the pushing down. You should get a blue LED indicating power. Then press the base sync button briefly - don't hold it. When the base Camera LED is flashing, press the camera sync button. Did this help?
