Hi Just purchased the system
It's not recording on auto detection - is this something to do with my plan, or is this not a feature of the system - would be pretty useless if it didnt do this! - I cant find a setting on the login to enable / disable this, if I click "live" on the camera I get a manunal recording but that's useless. Any help appreciated - otherwise it's going back!

You have to tell the camera what to do. Under "Mode" you need to explain to the camera how you want it to act. You will select "edit" then you can set how long you want the camera to record, how you want to be notified etc.... You do this with each camera since that can act as a group or as individual. I hope this helped and I understood the question. It took me a bit to get the hang of it.
