intermittent motion detection

H11 hardware, firmware 1.2.16720

After a year or so of reliable operation, a couple of cameras are failing to detect motion intermittently.  I can stand right in front of them, wave arms, walk back and forth, come into view, go out of view, and nothing is recorded.  Then I do a motion detection test on the cameras in question, and the LED lights up immediately when I come into view.  After the motion detection test, they function correctly, record motion and store video.  Motion detection test seems to reset them.  Why?

It seems a bit of us are having this issue after that firmware update for the base.  😞

How often are you experiencing this behavior? You might try a base station reboot and test again to see if the issue still occurs.

I did power cycle the base, and motion seems to be working.  Continuing to test......

Hi i am having exactly the same issue, both my cameras have become totally intermittant.

its only recently, although i dont remember updating any firmware. only the App.

if i Disarm, then Re-Arm the cameras they start working again .

 

hope this gets resolved soon.

i have had over 14 months of trouble free use.

Sometimes the quickest resolution is to remove all devices from Settings, My Devices and start fresh. PITA but if it works...
