camara turns off

the camara turns on when I open and close the battery door but then 10 mins later it turns off on its it's own. iv only had the camra for about 6 months

You could have a defective camera, and if so contact Customer support at the green banner near the bottom of this page.

But first, try moving your base station a little further away from the router if possible. 

The camera going offline problem is usually interference from another electronic device or the camera is out of range from the base.

What do you mean when you say the camera turns off? Are you seeing an error message when attempting to live stream or are you talking about the on/off switch in camera settings?

off like as if the batteries died it just turns off on its own. if I open the battery cover and close it. the camara turns back on and works only for about 10 15 mins then turns off

What error message are you seeing when this happens (in your Arlo app or in the web client)?
