arlo wire-free unable to add device

unable to add a device...I go through steps and lights flash as if successful but no camera is added

Have you completed the setup for any cameras? If not, try a reset. Remove all devices in Settings, My Devices and use the Add Device button in the Devices tab to add the base and sync the cameras.

It's not a second hand camera is it?
