I have trying for weeks to sync a second camera. When I push the sync botton on he side of the base the light under the usb icon will blink amber but the camera light will not flash. What am I not doing correctly? I have one camera sync but a second one will not sync. Ready to make a boat anchor out this system.

When the usb light flashes on the base...it means you held the base sync button to long putting it into another mode.

 

The base sync button is a QUICK push

..and, of course, don't forget to push the button on the camera, too. I didn't see in your description that you did that.
