purchased 2 cameras, but one is full color and the other one is black and white, is the camera bad?

Nope, it's the light level which causes the camera to automatically switch from color to B&W.  You can test this by swapping cameras or increasing the light level for that camera.

Maybe, maybe not.

the cameras auto change to BW if the lighting conditions are low enough.... Move both into a bright area and re-check.

If the second camera is still BW, pull battery and replace same, test again in bright area

If still NG, contact Netgear support.

Did you ever get a response from ARLO?  I just opened mine and am running in to the same thing.  They are in the same environment and one is perfect color and the other is B&W.  Thanks

Isheat,

If you take the camera that is showing in black and white into a well lit environment, does it still show in black and white?

Once I got them both outdoors then I was able to duplicate the color in both cameras. Thanks
