Some times my phone will let me know when someone is at the door and  other times not.What is the problem ?What can I do to fix it?

You you mean recordings or push notices?

 

If recordings/motion detect, then try and set cam so the person passes thru the field of view in stead of straight on... the sensor appears more sensitive on the edges.
