This just started recently, but when I got to the web gui for my cameras, my virus software detects a file is being put on my computer with the html.exploit.cve 2017-63361. Where is this exploit coming from and how can I avoid it. My virus program quarantines it, but it should probably be removed from the Netgear software somehow right?

Your the first to see this that I know of... what type of antivirus software?

And you are going to https://arlo.netgear.com/  ?

I would do a full cleaning on the drive as it may not have come from Netgear but attached to it

I'm using ClamXAV. Yes I'm going to https://arlo.netgear.com/#/cameras. Really annoying, I got to the address and the scanner detects the file and quarantines it repeatedly for about 15 times then stops. The page does load as usual. Strange. How do you clean the drive, you mean the base station?

ReadyNAS uses ClamAV, too, and causes issues with some files. I just ignore them.
