All five of my cams had the little bulging dome low center front shredded, probably by woodpeckers. They still work but I doubt they will stand up to rain now Smiley Sad Obviously this isn't a warranty issue (acts of pecker...). Its the motion detector, right? I can live without that so a dab of epoxy would be ok. Any brighter ideas than mine around?

Thx in advance,

/RS

Yes, it's the cover for the PIR sensor.  Wow!  Too late now but maybe a cage around them could be useful.  Or bird shot.

I don't know how epoxy would affect motion detection but to seal the camera I'd think that would be fine.  You say you're ok without detection so go for it.  A dab of silicone sealant should also work.  If it's thin and smooth enough, who knows?  Maybe detection would still be possible unless they got the sensor itself.
