With all netgear stuff.. isn't password vunderable to people who know and can see your serial number

If some one can find out the serial number of the product like night hawk router or Arlo, then can't they find out your network password by using password recovery.   Also if the thieves turn off the wifi, then arlo doesn't do anything.   Is there a log that show at least the wifi was off.  

I think these are serious limitations to my security with these devices.  

I think there should be some way of stopping someone from just interruping the wifi so they can gain access unseen by the arlo system.

All systems have some form of faults...almost any system can be cracked.... If I cut your home's power by pulling the meter most security systems will go down.

You just have to try your best to cover the holes. As with all these days, a good pass word is important. 

There is no access into the Arlo router so even if the password was there you couldn't get in.  Be sure you user password is strong and don't share it...after that I wouldn't worry

PS .. the data stream is encrypted by key code.
