Hi,

I do not own an Arlo but am wondering...

Are the wireless battery-operated Arlo cameras capable of recording video and audio? and how does the footage get saved?

Do the Wirless battery-operated arlo cameras have motion detection?

Thank you

All cameras will stream to the Arlo Cloud, which can then save recordings.  For the newer cameras, that requires a paid subscription.  That is definitely the easiest approach.

One camera model (the Arlo Go) has a microSD slot where it can store recordings.  Several models can be paired with a base station that also can store recordings.  However, it's not that easy to access those recordings.

Yes.  They have PIR sensors that will detect motion.  Most can also trigger on audio.

Thank you Stephen, and does the motion detection alarms on the wireless battery arlo pop up as notifications on the application?

And what does the time in the left hand top corner mean? IE: 1 H ago

Does this mean the last time it recorded or the last time it was accessed? If its on clound and continually recording, will it still say 1 H ago.

Also can multiple apps use the same camera? like 2 people accessing the same camera?

Yes.  There are some settings that control that (including some that only apply if you have a paid subscription).

You can access the camera from multiple apps - though you can only have one login on the account at a time.  There is a way around that, which is to enable "friend" access from another account.  https://kb.arlo.com/000039122/How-do-I-add-friends-to-my-Arlo-account

I don't believe you can livestream the camera to two apps at the same time (not something I've tried, as I don't use the friend access myself).
